What a wonderful surprise it was! Great debut novel: original, suspenseful and fast paced. You will be hooked up from the beginning and, in fact, unable to predict the ending. Read it before it becomes a movie!

An interesting book about a fictional situation concerning the Iron Curtain speech and the political context in the immediate post WWII world.

I found it greatly paced, enabling the reader not to lose interest due to an excess of historical facts, but simultaneously allowing the main historical characters to be beautifully depicted and providing us with an intimate approach to their line of thoughts and reactions. The “bad guys” on the other hand seemed a little bit oversimplified, but I believe this could be aligned with not losing the narration line.

Definitely recommended for anyone interested in historical fiction and suspense.

It seemed to be going the Lovecraft way, but things are getting weirder with every page. Anyway, so far, so well.
